 Assistant Mistress in Junior Girls - appointed 23.8.1897 - certificate ( third class) from 1.8.1905 - left (for Sunderland) 28.2.1906. Lived at Westbrook House, Stanhope Road.

Commenced duties as Cert. Assistant in Senior Boys School on Monday 1st September 1902. Terminated appointment on Friday September 25 1903 due to move to Harwich.

Commenced duties as 2nd year Pupil Teacher in Girls School on 27th August 1923. Left 25th July 1924.

Monitor in Junior Boys November 1885. 3rd year P.T in Junior Boys 1888. 4th year P.T in Junior Boys 1889. Ex P.T. in Junior Boys 1890. Resigned his position of Assistant Master in Junior Boys school 31 July 1891 as he had been appointed to an Assistant Mastership under the Eston School Board.

Commenced duties as Temporary Assistant Master in Senior Boys on Thursday May 1st 1890. Returned to Oxbridge Lane Schools Monday May 19th 1890. Commenced duties as Assistant Master in Bowesfield Senior Boys on Monday January 9th 1893. Left on Friday 26 January 1894, being transferred to Portrack Lane School.

APPLEBY Henry William -

Commenced duties as Monitor in Senior Boys on October 8, 1888. Left his position as Probationer on Tuesday 25th February 1890 to take a situation at the Co-operative Society.

Commenced duties in Boys School on Monday 3rd March 1919. Transferred to Bailey St Schools on April 1st 1919.

Assistant in Infant Department from 29.8.1944. Deputy Head in September 1958. Left on 23rd October 1959.

Commenced duties as Assistant Master in Senior Boys School on Monday April 25th 1892, taking charge of Standard IV. Left on Friday October 5 1894 to take charge of Hartburn National School, Morpeth.

BAGE John Craddock -

Head Master in Senior Boys 1881 - 1914. Retired in July 1914 after 33 years as Head Master (1881 - 1914). Died on 7th January 1928.

Commenced duties as Monitor in Senior Boys on Monday 1st September 1890. Progressed to Pupil Teacher and Ex. P.T. Left on Friday 4th September 1896 to enter Bede College, Durham. Temporary Assistant at Senior Boys 14 December 1896 whilst Student in Training. Returned to Bede College January 15 1897. Re-commenced duties as Assistant in Senior Boys on Monday November 22nd 1897. Transferred to Bailey St schools from Monday August 21st 1899.

Born in Stockton in Stockton in 1873, the daughter of Jonathan and Jane. Commenced duties as Certificated Assistant in Infant School on 26^th August 1895  Assistant – 1896 Certificated Assistant – 1897 and 1898 .Terminated her appointment as Certificated Assistant on 21^st December 1899.  

BAINBRIDGE  Dennis Mr-

Commenced Boys School on 1st September 1954. Senior 1 teacher in Boys Department 1955. Art teacher. Left in December 1957 to take up post at Wath on Dearne, near Rotherham.

BAINBRIDGE Mabel  – 

Commenced duties as Monitress in Infant School on 5^th June 1899, 1^st year Pupil Teacher 1900, 2^nd year P T 1901, 4^th year P T 1902 . Ex Pupil Teacher 1903. Concluded her duties as Assistant 30^th November 1903 .

Born 7 March 1887, commenced Junior Schools 4 March 1910, left 1913 being transferred to Richard Hind School.  A Mr Bath left Senior Boys (Stand 1) on Friday January 10th 1913 for new schools on Yarm Road.

 Born 14 April 1869. Assistant Mistress in Junior Girls - appointed 9.11.1885 (Appointed Ex P T  in Midsummer1890). Lived at 1 Harper Terrace, Hartburn, Stockton. Taught at Bowesfield Lane Schools for 44 years. Retired on the 25th October 1929.
