I believe J. Dillard to be John Dillard that married Mary Jane Davis on 3 March 1870 Live Oak Co., TX. Mary Jane Davis married on 9 July 1868 in Live Oak County to Wilson Perry Walker. Mary Jane Davis is the sister of Christopher Columbus Davis and they are somehow related to Caroline Ethyl (McMullen?) Dodd.
