Notes: Several years was spent wondering who this death certificate was for.  There is no name recorded on this McMullen  County Death Certificate.  The only clue was the name of the father and mother.  Through working on family genealogy I was able to figure out who the death certificate is for.  I have filled in the missing pieces of this document in quation marks.

Notes: Lydia Elizabeth White, daughter of William Penn White and Susan Jane Smith, was born on February 09, 1876 in Live Oak Co., TX.  She married Thomas Benjamin Tope on May 01, 1895 in McMullen Co., TX.  She is buried in the San Miguel Cemetery, Cross Community in McMullen County, TX next to her husband, Thomas Benjamin Tope.

Thomas Benjamin Tope, son of James Henry Tope and Dorcas Salina Winters, was born on December 19, 1868 and died on December 31, 1953.
