Troup Native's Funeral Slated
Funeral Services for Mrs. Jessie U. Yarbrough, 76, of 2206 Loma Vista, Victoria, are set at 4 p.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. T. Hartley Hall, Pastor, officiating. Burial Will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direcion of Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home.
She died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday in Goliad convalesence home after a short illness. She was a native of Troup, but had resided in Victoria the past three years. For 20 years, she resided in Tyler. She was a member of Westminster Bible Church in Victoria.
Survivors include; a son, Grady Yarbrough of Victoria; a brother, Earl Henry of Houston; and three grand children.

Description: This is my paternal grandmother, Jessie Jewel Henry Yarbrough, who was married to O. Swanson Yarbrough, son of Joseph Swanson Yarbrough, son of Joseph Randolph Yarbrough, son of John Swanson Yarbrough. Jessie died on August 18, 1968 in Goliad, TX. This obituary was published August 19, 1968 in The Victoria Advocate.

Mrs. Jessie J. Yarbrough, 76, of 2206 E. Loma Vista St., died Saturday afternoon in a Goliad nursing home following a short illness.
A resident of Victoria for three years Mrs. Yarbrough was born Oct. 25, 1891 in Troup, Tex., to the late Sam and Parolee Martin Henry. Before moving to Victoria she had resided for 20 years in Tyler and the previous 20 years in San Antonio. She was a member of Westmenster Bible Church.
Her husband, Swanson Yarbrough, died in 1957.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Duckett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles W. Raup, Jr. officiating. Additional funeral services will be held at 4 p.m Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Tyler with the Rev. Hartley Hall officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Should friends so desire contributions may be made to the Westminster Bible Church Building Fund.
Surviving are a son, Grady Yarbrough of Victoria; a brother Earl Henry of Houston; and three grandchildren.
