  In County Court of La Salle County, Texas.
  IN VACATION, May 7, A.D. 1926.

TO THE HONORABOE G. A. WELHAUSEN, JUDGE OF THE COUNTY COURT OF
LA SALLE COUNTY, TEXAS:

 Now comes Lawrence Yarbrough, who resides in La Salle County,
Texas, and shows to the court that Johnnie Yarbrough is a girl
and a minor about 13 years of age, residing in the said County of
La Salle and State of Texas, and is without any lawful guardian
of her person and estate.  That said minor is entitled to an es-
tate, both real and personal, which is situated in the said County,
of La Salle and State of Texas, and also has some property situated
in the County of Searcy and State of Arkansas, all of said property
both real and personal being of the probable value of Twenty-five
Hundred ($2500.00) Dollars; that the parents of said minors are
both deceased; that Willie E. Yarbrough, the father of said minor
survived the mother, and at the time of his death resided in the
County of La Salle and State of Texas, aforesaid, and that your
applicant is in no way disqualified, and is a proper person to
act as guardian of the person and estate of said minor; and that
the said minor is entitled to a personal estate consisting of
approximately $1000.00 due her as beneficiary in an insurance
policy carried by her father, Willie E. Yarbrough; and that same
is now due and payable, and that the interests of said minor and
her estate, require the immediate appointment of a guardian of
said minor.
 Wherefore he prays that notice of his application be given
as required by law, and that he be appointed guardian of the
person and estate of said minor.

In Re The Guardianship of
Johnnie Yarbrough, a minor

In County Court of La Salle County,
Texas, IN VACATION,

 On this the 7th day of May, A.D. 1926, In Vacation, came on
to be heard and considered by the court, the application of
Lawrence Yarbrough, for Letters of Guardianship on the person and
estate of Johnnie Yarbrough, a minor, under fourteen years of age;
and it appearing to the court that said minor has no lawful
guardian of her person or estate, and that the said Lawrence Yar-
brough is qualified to receive Letters of Guardianship; and it fur-
ther appearing to the court that the xxxx interests of said minor
and her estate require the immediate appointment of a guardian.

 It is therefore order by the court that the said Lawrence
Yarbrough be and is hereby appointed temporary guardian of the
person and estate of said minor, Johnnie Yarbrough, without ci-
xxxxxxxxxxxx as required and directed by law; and that Letters
of Guardianship issue to the said Lawrence Yarbrough, of his
giving bond in the sum of Two Thousand ($2,000) Dollars, payable
and conditioned as required by law, and taking on oath within
twenty days; and it is further ordered by the court that such
appointment of guardianship, unless contested at the next regular
term of this court, after publication of notice, shall be made
termanent.

 It is further ordered by the court that G. A. Barnham
J. G. Gil(sic) and Thos. F. Hayward
be and are hereby appointed appraisers to make xxxxxxx due
appraisement of the estate of said minor, and make due return
of same to this court.

 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that we, Lawrence Yarbrough
as principal, and G. A. Burnham and Z Whitehead
 as sureties, are held and firmly bound
unto G. A. Welhausen, County Judge of La Salle County, Texas,
and his successors in office, in the sum of Two Thousand ($2000)
Dollars, conditioned that the above-named and bound, Lawrence
Yarbrough, xxx who has been appointed by the County Court of
La Salle County, Texas, guardian of the person and estate of
Johnnie Yarbrough, will faithfully discharge the duties of
guardian of the person and estate of such ward according to law.

 Witness our signatures this 7th day of May, A.D. 1926.

Colony Lands in LaSalle County, Texas looks like $320.00 marked through and $160.00 entered on top
minors one half interest
Twenty acres of land being Tract No.
16 in Section 82 of the Gardendale
Colony Lands in La Salle County, Texas looks like $200 marked through and $100.00 entered on top
minors one half interest
Part of Lot No 1 in Block No. 4 in
(sic) and all (sic)
thereon situated in the town
of Leslie, State of Arkansas $2000.00
minor's one half Interst

    (looks like $2720.00 was marked through and 1,360 entered on top
   Total Value of Property

In Re: Guardianship of
Johnnie Yarbrough,
a minor.

In the County Court of
La Salle County, Texas,
July Term, A. D. 1926

 On this the 26th day of July, A D 1926, at a regular term
of this Court, came on to be heard and to be considered this
cause, and it appearing to the Court, that, on the 7th day
May, A D 1926, by order of the County Judge of La Salle
County, Texas, duly made and entered of record in the Minutes
of this Court, in this Cause, Lawrence Yarborough was appointed Temporary
Guardian of the Person and Estate of Johnnie Yarbrough, a Minor,
and letters of temporary guardianship were issued to him on his
giving the required bond and taking the oath; and such order
providing that appointment, unless constested at the next
regular term of this court after service of citation,
shall be made permanent; And it further appearing to the court
that all persons interested in the welfare of such Minor have
been duly cited to appear and contest same if they so desired,
and that no contest has been made or filed herein.
 It is therefore considered and ordered by the Court that
the said order heretofore made, appointing the said Lawrence
Yarborough, Temporary Guardian of the Person and Estate of said
Minor Johnnie Yarbrough, be and is hereby made permanent.
