County of LaSalle
Known all now by this presents That I Bettie
Davenport of the County of La Salle State of Texas for any in
consideration of the sum of Twenty five 00/100 Dollars to me in
hand paid by Mrs. Nancy Yarbrough the receipt of which I
do hereby acknowledge I have Granted Sold and Conveyed and by
thesee presents do Grant (sic) any Convey unto the said Nancy
Yarbrough of the County of La Salle State of Texas as that
certain tract of land lying and being situated in the Coun
ty of La Salle State of Texas being lot No (5) five Block no
(4) four in Davenport addition to the town of Cotulla a
map of said additonal being recorded in Book 4 Page 203
Records of La Salle County Texas.

To have and to hod the above described Surmises (sic) (sic) with
all and singular the rights and assurtinances there to in any
wise belonging unto the said Nancy Yarbrough her heirs
and administrators to Warrant any forever defend all and singular
the said premises unto the said Nancy Yarbrough heirs
and assign against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or
to claim the same or any part thereof.
Witness my hand at Cotulla this 11 day of March A. D. 1908.

and for La Salle County Texas on the day personally appeared
Mrs Bettie Davenport known to me to be the person whose
name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument and acknowledged
to me that she
hadexecuted the same for the purposes and consi-
deration therein expressed.
