                Before me, Wm F. M. Ross Sr. Ex
Officio Notary Public in and for Atascosa
County, Texas, on this day personally appeared
James W. McDonald, A. A. Q. McDonald, R. E. McDonald
and J. D. Yarbrough (Husband of Nina McD Yarbrough)
well known to me to be the persons whose names
are subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and ackn-
owledged to me that they executed the same for the
purposes and consideration therein expressed.
Given under my hand and seal of office, this
15th day of May A. D. 1897

Presents, That we James W. McDonald A. A. Q.
McDonald, J. D. Yarbrough, and wife Nina
McD. Yarbrough, Wm Clarry and wife, M. -
E. McD. Clarry, and R. E. McDonald of the
County of Atascosa and State aforesaid, for and
in consideration of the sum of One Hundred
and Forty Seven 65/100 ($147.65) Dollars,
to Us in hand paid by Wm. F. Morton
have Granted, Sold and conveyed, and by these
presents do Grant Sell and convey unto the
said Wm. F. Morton of the county and State of
Texas, all that certain Parcel of Land lying
and being in the country of Atascosa about 17 Miles
N.W. from Pleasanton on the H. Bank of the
Atascosa Creek being an undevided interest of Five

Eleventh. Shares out of (103 1/4 acres) One Hun
dred and Three and one quarter acres be
ing a subdivision of The Cruz Landin
Survey No. 45 described and bounded as
follows,
Beginning at a Stake on the west fork of
the Atascosa Creek on the North line of survey
No 49 from which a Live Oak 18 inches Dia Brs
North 48 10/2 W. 37 1/2 Vrs another Live Oak 2 feet
in Dia Brs S 81 3/4 W - 46 vrs to a stake the S.
W. corner of this survey from which a Post Oak
2 feet in Dia N. 38 W. 16 3/4 Vrs and a Live Oak
7 inches Brs S. 53 1/4 W. 9 1/2 Vrs.
Thence N 29 1/2 East 195 V(sic) to a stake on
the West Line of survey No 45 from which a Post Oak
14 inches Dia N. 40 W. 3 1/2 Voras another 8 inches
Dia S 80 E 10 Varas
Thence S 60 1/2 E. 3210 Varas to a stake on the
bank of said creek from which a Hack berry
12 inches in Dia Brs. N 41 W. 57 1/2 Varas a Live
Oak 6 inches in Dia Brs N. 26 1/2 W. 46 3/4 Varas.
