County of Live Oak
Know all men by these presents
That we Alfred Yarbrough & E. C. Yarbrough his wife
of the County of Karnes and State of Texas for and
in consideration of Two hundred and fifty Dollars
to us in hand paid by Sebastian Beall of the
County of Live Oak and State of Texas the receipt where-
of is hereby acknowledged

before the signing sealing
and delivery of thse presents have Granted Bargained
Sold released and conveyed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell release convey and deliver unto
the said Sebasian Beall his heirs and assigns all that
tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Live Oak
and State of Texas and more fully described as being
the fifth survey of land originally granted to Thomas
Adams as a colonist in McMullen & McGloin
Colony situated in the north side of the Nueces River
about three miles above the mouth of the Rio Frio
River (Said Elm being Forked) marked as the South west
corner of 1000 acres survey for R D Vickers as a portion
of and League and Labor Thence up said river with
it's meanders S 76 W 460 vs N 70 W 352 vs West 256 vs
S 58 W 24 vs West 34 vs S 42 W 208 vs South 160 vs
of and river for the South East Corner of this
the West boundary line of said League and Labor

14 vs Thence N 9 E with said line 160 vsa ravine 388
as a stake set for the North West Corner of said League
and Labor Thence N 65 E with the North boundary
Line 2808 vs to a stake set for the west corner of said
1000 acres make for said Vickers Thence S 69
E with said Vickers South west line 3245 vs
to the beginning.
Together with all and singular the rights members
hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging
or in anywise insident or assertaining. To have and
to hold all and singular the premises above men-
tioned unto the said Sebastian Beall his heirs
and assigns forever And we hereby bind our-
selves our heirs executors and administrators to
warrant and forever defend all and singular
the said premises unto the said Sebastain Beall
his heirs and asigns against every person
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the
same or any part thereof.

Personally appeared before me
the undersigned authority in and for the State
and County above written Alfred Yarbrough to
me well known who acknowledged that he had
signed and delivered the foregoing instrument of
writing and he declared the name to be his act and
deed for the purposes and consideration therin stated.
In testimony whereof I hereunto affix any named
and official seal at my office in Oakville this 3rd
day of March AD 1875

ity in and for the State and County above written
personally appeared Caroline Yarbrough wife of

Alfred Yarbrough (sic) to a certain deed of writing
bearing date on the erd day of March and hereunto an-
nexed and having been examined by me (sic) and
apart from her husband and having the same fully
explained to her she the said Caroline Yarbrough
acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and de-
clared that she had willingly signed sealed and de-
livered the same and that she wished not to retract is
To certify which I hereunto sign my name and affix
my official seal this 3rd day of March A D 1875

District Court of said County do hereby certify that
the foregoing instrument of writing with its certifi-
cate of authentication was filed for registration
in my office the 3rd day of March AD 1875 at 12
