"Henry B. Norton"

HENRY B. NORTON.—Native of New York. Educated in public schools of New York,
Wisconsin, and Illinois, Beloit College, Wisconsin, and State Normal University, Illinois. Taught in public schools of Illinois, in Illinois Normal University, and seven years in State Normal School, Emporia, Kansas. Teacher of science in San Jose Normal School from June, 1875, to June, 1885. Specialties, chemistry, zoology, and physical geography. Professor NORTON died at his home, in the Santa Cruz Mountains, June 22, 1885, of congestion of the brain.
