"George B. Hall"

GEORGE B. HALL was one of the earliest settlers of Lima Township, Rock County, having
taken up land there in 1837. He was elected to the first constitutional convention as a Democrat. A lawyer by profession, in the conventlon he served on the committee on boundaries ... abandoned law and politics and devoted himself ... April 21, 1878 at Owatonna, Minnesota. Tenney ... [Memorial Record], 89.

Note: The edition I saw of this book had at least 1" of the text missing from the right side of the second page [from "committee on boundaries" on]. I put the biography online anyway, despite it being spotty at best, in hopes someone would notice it and submit a complete version.
