I., '56-'57; tutor in Mathematics, Amherst Coll., '57-'60; Professor of Mathematics and Physics, Beloit Coll., '60-'63; ordained at Granby, Oct. 28, 1863, and p., '63-'66; p., First church, Rockville, Ct., '66-'68; home missionary, Mobile, Ala., '68-'69; teacher, Geneva, N.Y., '69-'70; p., Holliston, '70-'73; p., Woburn, '73-'76; p., College St. church, New Haven, Ct., since '77; traveled in Europe in 1880. Author of Sermons in Monday Club Series. Married, (1) Aug. 8, 1861, Harriet A., dau. of Philip Schuyler BEEBE, of Litchfield, Ct., who died Aug. 3, 1865; (2) Oct. 16, 1867, Mrs. Eliza Leavitt FISKE, dau. of Rev.
