NORMAND SMITH PATTON, M.A., [Chicago, Ill.], son of Rev. William W. and Mary B.
(SMITH) PATTON, D.D., LL.D., was born in Hartford, Conn., July 10, 1852; fitted for college at the Chicago High School. Beloit Coll., '69-'7 ; Amherst, '70-'73; studied architecture one year at the Mass. Inst. of Tech.; Architect, Chicago, IIl., '74-'77; Washington, D.C., '77-'83; Chicago, Ill., '83-. President of the Chicago Cong. Club. Chicago, 1896; Architect of the Board of Education of Chicago since 1896. M.A., Amherst, 1876. Married, Jan. 1, 1885, Frances M., dau. of Rev. Theodore J. KEEP of Oberlin, O. She died June 13, 1895. Four children. [Alumnus of Amherst College, 1873]
