- EUGENE HARRIS, farmer, Sec. 20; P.O. Evansville; born in
Porter Township Oct. 23, 1847;
- his father, Miles HARRIS, settled in Wisconsin in 1842, where
he engaged in farming. Mr. Eugene HARRIS married, in Janesville,
Rock Co., Dec. 25, 1869, Miss Sarah J. TOLLES, daughter of Myron
TOLLES, one of Rock Co.'s early settlers. Mr. HARRIS has one
child, born June 12, 1874 - Cora E. He is the owner of 260 acres.
