- ADAM SMITH, P.O., Edgerton; born in Milwaukee, Wis., June
28, 1854; son of John and
- Margaret (BROOKNEAFE); was educated at district schools in
Jefferson Co.; has lived in Edgerton for twelve years past, and
has been engaged in carrying on the livery business, which has
been very successful under his management. Members Ancient I.O.O.F.;
liberal in religion; Republican. His father, Mr. John SMITH,
came to Wisconsin at a very early day, and now lives in Jefferson
Co.
