- JOHN SNYDER, farmer, Sec. 16; P.O. Janesville; born in Austria
in 1852; came to America in
- 1871, settling in township of Harmony; in 1875, commenced
operations for himself on a farm owned by Mr. SEXTON, of about
160 acres; raises principally corn, oats and tobacco. Married
Miss Ann ZUERNON in 1871, also a native of Austria; have one
daughter - Amelia, born Feb. 12, 1879. His father, Francis SNYDER,
lives on the farm with him.
