- DR. O. P. ROBINSON, physician and surgeon; born in Elizabeth,
N.J., of English parentage;
- engaged in practice over forty years; was located for three
years in Texas prior to his removal to Wisconsin; in April, 1846,
he went to Milwaukee, and in November of that year, came to Janesville;
he was County Physician several years; served as Alderman of
the Fourth Ward from 1871 to 1877; was re-elected for 1878; was
President of the Common Council for 1873. Married Clara B. REYNOLDS,
of New York City, in August, 1841.
