Janesville; born in Hudson Co.,
- N.Y., in 1855; came to Wisconsin with his parents in 1859,
locating at Madison, Dane Co.; purchased his partnership with
his brother in the present homestead from Mr. DOOLITTLE in 1873;
has eighty acres, all under cultivation. His brother, Michael
HAYES, was born in Hudson Co., N.Y., in 1853. Married Miss Elizabeth
QUINN, of Center Township, Rock Co.; they raise corn, oats and
stock.
