- CHAS. EVEINGHAM, farmer, Sec.3; P.O. Beloit; born in Onondaga
Co., N.Y., in 1830; he
- came to Beloit in 1865, and bought eighty acres of land in
Sec. 3, with residence; he built barns and made improvements,
put up wind-mill, set out a grove of trees, built fences, etc.,
and made it a very comfortable place. He married in 1863, in
Onondaga Co., Eliza EMMONS; had no children; she died in Beloit
Nov. 27, 1878. Mr. E. is still living on the farm, and raises
hogs, cattle and grain.
