- JAMES HAGGART, farmer, Sec. 35; P.O. Tiffany; born in New
York in 1843; came to
- Wisconsin in 1851, with his father, James HAGGART, who purchased
a farm at La Prairie in Sec. 35, of 215 acres; he remained on
the farm till his father's death, Nov. 22, 1877; he then succeeded
to the farm, and is at present making a specialty of dairy produce,
having twenty milk cows. He married, in the fall of 1869, Miss
Laurie NASH, a native of New York; they have two children - Archie,
born February, 1871, James, December, 1878; he has been Postmaster
one year; Republican; member of the Congregational Church.
