"John McMillin"

JOHN McMILLIN, farmer, Sec. 11; P.O. Whitewater, Walworth Co., Wis., and Lima Center;
born in County Derry, Ireland, in 1807; son of William McMILLIN. He resolved to try his fortune in America, and landed at New York in 1847; came to Rock County the same year and settled on the farm he now owns, of 160 acres. Married Hannah, daughter of William STEEL, of his native county, 1846. He is a Republican, and, with his wife, a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church, of Lima. Mr. and Mrs. McMILLIN are now enjoying the fruits of their labor in a serene old age. He bought his farm in the wild state, and has well improved it.
