- WILLIAM KELLEY, SR., farmer, Sec. 25; P.O. Beloit; the father
of William T. and Daniel
- KELLEY; he was born on the Isle of Man in 1809. He married
there, in 1838, Ann WADE; they had eleven children; six are now
living. He came to America with his wife in 1865, and went to
live with his son Daniel, who came to Newark before him and bought
160 acres of land in Sec. 25, built a residence and barns, and
made all improvements. His other son, Thomas, also lives in
Newark, and owns a house and farm.
