- JACOB ROUCHE, farmer, Sec. 29; P.O. Beloit; born in France
in 1803; came to Rock Co.,
- Wis., in 1846, and bought 120 acres Government land in Sec.
29, Newark. He built a residence and barns, and made all improvements.
He married, in France, Miss Marguerite MEILLEUR; they have two
sons, who are married. One is living in Beloit City, and the
other at home and working the farm for his father.
