- BENJAMIN BLEASDALE, farmer, Sec. 7; P.O. Janesville; born
in Leeds, Eng., in 1829; son
- of Robert BLEASDALE, who came to America with his family
in 1845 and settled on Sec. 7, where Benjamin now owns 200 acres.
He married Miss Fannie BARTON, of Rock Co., in 1864; they have
one son - Freddie B., born in 1867. Mr. B. is a member of Center
Grange and the Temple of Honor. He was elected Supervisor in
1876 and 1877; is a Republican. Raises Durham grades, Poland
hogs, and has seventy sheep of the Cotswold breed.
