Shelbyville Daily News 6 March 2003 Richard L. (Dick) Reynolds Sr. Windsor Richard L. (Dick) Reynolds Sr., age 64, of Windsor, passed away at 4:06 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Rev. Richard Eident will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with Masonic rites at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Windsor Cemetery. He was born March 26, 1938 in Moultrie Co., IL the son of Edward and Elaine Sims. He was adopted by Alva and Bessie Wilson Reynolds. He married Betty Hobbs on July 18, 1987 in Windsor. He was a member of the Windsor Fire Department and Windsor Masonic Lodge # 322. He served as mayor and councilman for the city of Windsor and served as president of the Windsor Picnic Association. He retired from Imperial Bondware in Shelbyville in February of 2002. Surviving are his wife Betty; son, Richard L. Reynolds Jr. and wife Dana of Windsor; step-daughter, Donna Schenkel and husband Phil of Decatur; step-grandson, John Schenkel and wife Suzie of Decatur; step-granddaughter Cindy Eybel and husband Brian of Decatur; step-great-grandchildren, Jeffery and Grant Eybel and Kyle and Dylan Schenkel; sister, Kay Langsfeld of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents and adopted parents. Memorials may be made to the Windsor Fire Department.
