ANDREW WAGGAMAN born 6-10-1779 in NC married Sindi (I believe her name
was
Synthia). Sindi born 12-11-1778 in NC. Andrew Waggaman died July 1856
and is
buried in Paris Cemetery, Clinton Co. Indiana.
Sindi Waggaman died 11-6-1863 age 74Yrs 10Ms 25Dys. She is buried
in Mays
Cemetery, Cass Co. Indiana. Click on Mays

Andrew Waggaman is in the 1840 and 1850 census for Clinton Co. In. In
the 1850
census Andrew (Waggoner) is 70 yrs old and Sindi is 61 yrs. (I believe
Sindi was
born in 1788 not 1778 like the tombstone says). In the 1850 census,
Sindi is b. abt. 1788.
In 1850 there is a Samuel Waggaman age 3 yrs. born in Indiana and a
John Burket
born in Indiana age 11 yrs, living with Andrew and Sindi. I do not
know how
these 2 boys fit into the family as yet. There is an Emely Byrket (Mrs.
J.W.)
and infant buried in Mays Cemetery that may be the wife of John Burket
that was
living with Andrew and Sindi in 1850. The reason I find this interesting
is in

I found a John Wagaman born abt. 1791 in Rowan Co. NC that married
a
Mary Burket. Also in the Burket family there was a Charles Burket born
Abt. 1805
in Rowan Co. NC that married Susanna Wagaman born abt 1808 in Montgomery
Co. OH
Johann George Wagemann born 1760 in NC, married Anna Rosina Beroth.
Children
were Benjamin, Christian born 1787, and John born 1791. Could
this be the same

I think Andreas Wageman that had a daughter Martha Anna born 18th August
1826 -
Bapt 7th Oct 1827 is my Martha Ann born 17th August 1827.
Also the Andreas born 1-23-1802 is the Andrew Waggaman born 1801 in
NC that
moved to Vermilion Co., IL; married to Tabitha Lyons. This last is
only guess
work but I sure would like some input.

Additional data rec'd 11 April 2002
. I did find out that John Waggaman Born 1809 in NC
that married Elizabeth Rivers (Revers) was married in Henry
Co. Indiana
2-12-1834 and Catharine Waggaman married Joel Julian 1-28-1838
in Henry
Co. Indiana. I beleive John and Catharine to be children of Andrew
and
Sindi. Catharine was born abt. 1818 in NC. Joel Julian died 1-24-1849
and is buried in Mays Cemetery, Miami Co. In. Catharine married 2nd
Alexander Abrams after 1850. I believe Elizabeth Rivers father was
John
Revers. John Revers was in the 1830 census for Guildord Co. NC There
were Julian's in the 1830 census living in Randolph Co. NC next to
Guilford. So Andrew Waggman was in Henry Co. For awhile before moving
to
Clinton Co. In.
1850 census Husband not listed. Henry Waters age 9 Years and Andrew
Waggaman age 26 born in NC living with her.
1860 Census she is married to Alexander Abrams 37 Yrs. born in Ohio.
living with her is Henry Winters (Waters) age 21 born in IL. Also John
Britton age 11 yrs. son of Martha Waggaman Britton Brandt and John
Britton.
