BENEFITS
A
quarterly journal, which includes genealogy, military history,
court records, and grass root historical articles of local interest.
Regular
quarter meetings with interesting speakers and programs followed
by a social hour and refreshments. Meetings are held the last
Sunday of January, April, July and October, 2:00 PM. The meetings
are currently being held at the Putnam County Board of Education
Offices in Winfield, WV.
The
Society also supports other historical interests in the county
such as historical preservation, military re-enactments, heritage
celebrations and pageants, genealogical research, and educational
classes.
MEMBERSHIP
REGISTRATION
Membership Dues $15/year includes historical
journals 4 times per year and quarterly meetings, last Sunday of: January,
April, July & October held at Putnam County Board of Education Offices
in Winfield, WV, 2:00 PM.
