FOREWORD

In June, 1931 the Lebanon School Board, at the instigation of its Chairman, Mr. A. J. Densmore, decided on the advisability of an alumni catalog of the graduates of Lebanon High School. Accordingly the chairman appointed the following committee:

Mrs. Eugene Grow—Class 1899
Miss Florence Rice—Class 1893
Mr. Alphonse Painchaud—Class 1905
Mrs. Willis Howard-Class—1916
Mr. Harold Townsend—Class 1927
The Committee as a whole is to be commended for it’s excellent work in searching out the present addresses of graduates of the school and special credit is due Mrs. Eugene Grow, the chairman of the committee, who has spent much time and money to make the record as complete and accurate as possible. Other graduates of the school have also given valuable assistance to the committee.

The purpose of the Chairman of the School Board in instigating this work is to bring together for the convenience of the alumni and school officials and general public a permanent record to which reference may be had, both for business purposes and pleasure. A general alumni association might well be formed to perpetuate this catalog and substantiate the efforts of the School Board, Superintendent, and Headmaster in keeping the school at a high standard. It is hoped that the alumni will realize a pleasure from perusing the pages of this catalog.
