It’s not surprising that Master Danforth sided with Munroe in his own responses to Hoare’s “Reesons”: Bacon was appealing, after all, from Danforth’s judgment, duly rendered and reaffirmed.
Like Grandpa William’s anonymous counsel, the magistrate responds to Hoare with a decorous modicum of sarcasm, expressed mainly via ellipses.
