Lucy Ann Decker Seely Young,
Harriet’s firstborn daughter,
a Plantagenet
descendant, and our great-great-grandmother, married first our
great-great-grandfather William Seely. Later, under
conditions I don’t know enough about, Lucy became
Brigham Young’s first
wife in plural marriage (third overall).
Here are more photos of Lucy, taken
during the twenty years that she was mistress of the Beehive House
in what they then called Great Salt Lake City.

William Seely was wounded in the battle of Crooked River.
