1C7R Jonas Munroe (1752-1840) was at age 18 the drummer and the youngest of Carlisle’s Minute Men at Concord Bridge. In 1785, his father Joshua deeded to him his grandfather Corporal Joe Munroe’s Westford Street homestead.
Jonas was an incorporator in 1830 of the Union Calvinistic Society, Carlisle’s Second Religious Society.
