Design and document a distributed processing security systems consisting of host computer, remote processors, local area network based on OSI model. FDDI, CCTV, intrusion detection devices, and access control devices.
Jan 1987 to Jan 1990	QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER, Raytheon Co., Missile Div., Bristol, Tennessee Lead team of engineers in the design of hardware and software of test stations on SM-2 production. Test stations included IEEE 488 controlled multimeters, spectrum analyzer, RF power meter, precision power sources, and data acquisition system. Manage and control project budget and cost control.
February 1985 to June 1986	SENIOR ENGINEER/SITE MANAGER, ManTech Field Engineering, Corp. McLean, Virginia Site representative in S. Korea U.S. military post, supervising an eight-member team of technical support personnel. Coordinated with engineering, maintenance, and operations managers in establishing priorities, devising solutions, and organizing a collective team effort by contractor and military personnel. Supervised/evaluated performance of site members.
May 1983 to January 1985	NETWORK SYSTEMS ENGINEER, American Satellite Co.,  Rockville, Maryland Responsible for integration and test of satellite TDMA network controller. Systems equipment included T1 multiplexers, DS0 channel banks, circuit and packet switching systems, T1 based switching equipment, digitizing and companding units, and modems. Solved problems related to hardware, software, protocol, timing, grounding, and operational procedures. Involved with X.25 protocol, TCP/IP, and the use of protocol analyzers and test equipment.
January 1981 to May 1983	DESIGN ENGINEER, Frederick Electronics, Frederick, Maryland Engineer responsible for integration of PDP 11/44 controlled data circuit switch. Task included use of systems diagnostics programs and knowledge of distributed processing architecture. Extensive use of oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and communications test equipment.
June 1978 to January 1981	FIELD ELECTRONICS ENGINEER, E-Systems, MelPar Division, Falls Church, Virginia Responsible for specification, design, and system integration of control bus monitor display unit. As a technical representative, at South Korea site, evaluated operational system requirements and directed a team of 15 military technicians in the maintenance of a large scale, signal processing facility.
