Warwickshire 1- the Warwickshire County Record Office. They hold many documents on Cherington and Stourton.
 
Warwickshire 2 - The fascinating Windows on Warwickshire site features resources from public collections e.g. Warwickshire Museum and Record Office, and has a collection of old photographs relating to Cherington and Stourton.
 
Warwickshire 3 - The Warwickshire Ancestors Project. This volunteer project aims to provide a "free-to-view" online searchable database of all the 19th century Warwickshire censuses, starting with the 1841 and 1891 censuses. W.A.P. forms part of the national FreeCens project.

Cherington and Stourton 1 - surnames on monumental inscriptions - for Stourton see also under "Whichford".  
Cherington and Stourton 2 - Victoria County History online. Warwickshire, Kington Hundred (Volume 5). Online versions give the whole text but not all illustrations, for copyright reasons. A significant part of the text for Cherington is devoted to the church.

Weston 2 - Weston is in Long Compton parish. For "Long Com" and area, the link is the same as Cherington and Stourton 1 above.
 
   
Whichford 1 - same as Cherington and Stourton 1 above. Stourton was a hamlet of Whichford until 1910.  
   
Banburyshire - the Banburyshire website. The area around the market town of Banbury, including parts of Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, is sometimes known as "Banburyshire". The site, devoted to Banburyshire family and local history, has a map of the area, on the fringes of which appear Cherington and Stourton. There is also a mailing list.

Baughan - John Baughan, a "First Fleeter", was deported to Australia in 1787.
Timms - Timms surname website including Cherington and Stourton roots (Holtom, Jarrett, etc.).
Webb - Richard Webb was born in Stowerton (Stourton) in 1818 and emigrated to Michigan in 1845.
Welles - Thomas Welles of Stourton became Governor of Connecticut, USA.
