Jim writes..."attached is a photo I took of Beachy Head LH on the channel coast of England, near Eastbourne, in September 1998. Later that year, a section of the cliffs (about the size of 4 townhouses according to the local papers there) fell the 500+ feet to the sea near the tower's base. I was probably walking on or awfully near the section that plunged. In any event, it was a beautiful day at a gorgeous spot! Also, the inactive Belle Tout LH is very close -- just over your right shoulder about a quarter mile away as you look at this view of Beachy Head. Belle Tout is now a B & B."
