If you would like to use the Richland County History Room resources, but are unable to visit us, we can help. Send us a message telling us what you would like to find out.

Please provide detailed information about what you already know along with a specific detailed request outlining what you hope to find out for the best results. Also, INCLUDE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS.

For newspaper article requests from the online index, put the articles in order by newspaper and then by date. This makes it quicker for us to find the articles and will, therefore, cost you less.

A prepayment with stated limits is appreciated. Payments should be made to: Richland County History Room.

We will include a bill for our services along with any information we find for you.

All money received is used to preserve and maintain the history and heritage of Richland County for the public use. We are non-profit.

Any donations of Richland County, WI source documents, Richland County, WI family genealogies or monetary contributions are greatly appreciated. Genealogies should list the sources of information along with the date created and author(s). Tax receipts will be given upon request.
