John Olorenshaw was the 5th child of Timothy and Sarah Nichols Olorenshaw. Born the 4 July 1865 in Coventry, Warwick, England. He died 2 December 1929 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He was buried the 6 December 1929 in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.
