Professor Franklin M Ferrell, (grandfather of submitter, Mary Ann Starr Wood,) moved from Stone Fort, Illinois, to Randolph County, along with his wife, Georgia Ann McDaniel, in 1909. Professor Ferrell taught in Randolph and Green County Schools, but at present Mary Ann is unsure as to which Randolph County schools that he taught.
