Researching Lucy Ethel WHITAKER Jordan Hansard - My Great Grandmother Researching William Henry JORDAN - My Great Great Grandfather Letter (dated 24 Aug 1908) telling how Aubrey Willie CLOWER was shanghaied! "Happy School Days" is the name of my Grandmother's scrapbook that she created in 1920, the year she graduated from Amarillo High School in Amarillo, Texas, USA Marriage License for Walter Henry DEASON and Mary Lizzie HARDY Deason documenting that their marriage was performed on 25 Jun 1900. Affidavit (dated 19 Apr 1940) by Marina Harriett ROSS Deason (mother of Walter Henry DEASON) stating that Walter Henry Deason married Lizzie Hardy on 24 Jun 1900. So, an 82 year-old woman can not remember her first born son's wedding date some 40 years after the fact. Probably so. The Bodan Cemetery near Pollok, Angelina County, Texas is where one set of my great great grandparents are buried: William Henry JORDAN and Elizabeth PATE Jordan Widow's Application for a Pension for Elizabeth PATE Jordan.
