Class Day Song
(to the tune of “My Isle of Golden Dreams”)
There comes a day A Sad day in May, It comes too fast To say good bye With a sad sigh To A. H. S. Everyone sighs Everyone cries “We love you, we love you,” Leaving it seems, Yes leaving it seems Our dear old home Hoping we may Some wonderful day Stroll here once more With heavy hearts We now depart Lonely and blue. Do hear us say School of our hearts, We hate to part. But with a sigh We have to say good bye. We hear the voice of others, A calling us away Farewell to thee our High School, We must be on our way. Some time in dreams Some time it seems We wait in love
For that some day So far away We’ll come once more.
