The ball room was beautifully and artistically decorated in the Junior and Senior class colors, purple and white, and gold and white, respectively. Palms and hothouse foliage were used in profusion while ribbon streamers carrying out the color scheme were draped from each corner of the room to the bright Japanese lanterns that cast their soft radiance over the whole. Little Miss Betty Bivins greeted the guests at the door, presenting them with dainty little programs and crimson fezes, which each donned before participating in the grand march, the first feature of the evening's fun. Delightful orchestra music was furnished for the dance, which was interspersed with the following enjoyable program: Vocal Solo - Miss Edith Seewald. There were all manner of delightful games for the entertainment of those who did not care to participate in the dance. One particular feature that was the source of much fun was a huge cone formed of ribbons, carrying out the general color scheme, which hung from the ceiling containing beautifully colored balloons. When the ribbons where drawn apart balloons drifted in every directions and there was a general scramble to get them. Through out the evening a delicious fruit punch was served. Dancing was indulged in amid a veritable rain of confetti and entangling paper ribbons until a late hour when the dreamy strains of "Home, Sweet Home" announced to the young people that going-home time had come and all departed for their respective homes voting the Class of '21 first class entertainers.
