Diolch yn fawr iawn i Alan Gwallt am gael menthyg y lluniau yma ar gyfer eu dangos ar y wefan. Diolch iddo fo hefyd am gymryd diddordeb ac am y straeon difyr. Gyda lwc fe gawn ddarllen y rhai gweddus ohonyn nhw yn y man.

Fe fuodd na lawer o bendroni cyn penderfynu pa daith oedd hon. Ar ol gofyn i amryw o bobol y penderfyniad ddaethpwyd iddo oedd taith Ffrainc yn 1983. Ella fod hyn yn hollol anghywir - dwi'n siwr y bydd rhywun yn gadael i ni wybod os oes camgymeriad wedi'i neud.

Be sydd gan y ddynes yn y ffenast i'w neud efo hogia glandeg Pwllheli medda chi. Wel dyma hi i chi o lygad y ffynnon - Arthur sy wedi deud hon.

"Ma llun y ddynas, dwi'n meddwl, yn y ffenest pan oedd yr hogia'n bwrw drwyddi tu allan i floc o fflatiau cyn i ni gael police escort allan o Rennes neu Nantes... dwi'm yn cofio'n iawn."

Os oes gan unrhyw un ohonoch luniau eraill ac yn awyddus i'w rhannu anfonwch e-bost fel y gallwn eu rhoi ar y wefan. Yn yr un modd mae'n rhaid fod yna ddigon o hanesion difyr am rygbi ym Mhen Llŷn. Beth am sgwennu 'chydig am yr atgofion sydd gennych.

Many thanks to Alan Gwallt for allowing me to show these photos on the website. I'm indebted to him for his enthusiasm and interest and many hilarious stories. With any luck we'll get to share some of these in due course.

There has been a lot of head scratching regarding the exact time of this Tour, but the consensus is that it was to France in 1983. I will stand corrected if anyone has a better idea.

What you may well ask has the lady in the window to do with Pwllheli. Before you jump into any conclusions let me tell you - straight from the horse's mouth - Arthur's.

"The picture of the woman, I think, looking out from the window of a block of flats as the Pwllheli lads were being a bit boisterous, which led to the infamous police escort to the Rennes City limits...... that's all I can remember."

There must be many more interesting photographs out there. Why not get in touch so that we can show them on this site. Likewise how about re-telling some memories about rugby in Pwllheli - it would be great to hear from you.
