What's this site about?
It shows the (ongoing) results of research into the history of our family. The major surnames covered by this research are:

BALFOUR/BELFORD, BONSALL, HAYNES, INGRAM, LANGWORTHY, McKAY, NANCARROW, SWAN

Other surnames you will find in this research include:

BIGG, BRISBANE, CLARINGBOULD, DANKS, DEWAR, HOLMES, MORRISH, PATERSON, RIDGARD, TEMPLARIA, WATERALL, WINCLES

About the research
Thank you to the following people for their help and contributions to research:
Ruth Jones (McKAY, BONSALL, LANGWORTHY)
Cal Ingram and Tony Stanton (INGRAM)
Malcolm Seville (McKAY)
Anne Nancarrow (NANCARROW)
Theresa Bigg (BIGG)
Russell Kelly (Mary HOLMES)

If you spot any errors, please let me know.

A note
This site uses women's MAIDEN surnames, even after marriage. So even if Caroline MORRISH married Joseph INGRAM in the 1830s, I will use MORRISH throughout her life. This is a genealogy standard, as is the use of CAPITAL LETTERS for surnames.
