1853 by Conaway heirs to sell several tracts of his estate.
Lincoln County Chancery Court, Minute Book, Aug. 6, 1856, page
92. "Brown Gregory & others vs Hugh Thomison & others". Obediah
Holloway, having bought up 6/8 of Elijah McClure lands from
heirs, sold them to Benjamin J. Parks and Elisha Thomison. The
Parks sold his interest to the latter. To perfect the title,
Holloway sue for sale and April 26, 1853, he bought the land
outright. He died July 29, 1854 in Franklin County.
Gregory proposed to take the remaing 2/8 of the property,
stating that Elisha Thomison died November 1853, leaving heirs
wife Ann and children Hugh, William, Ann, Martha, wife of
Benjamin J. Parks. Son John was already dead, leaving heirs:
Louisa C., Isabella A., Jane, residing in Marshall Co.; and
Eliza J. wife of R.J.M.Lane residing in Lawrence County.
