Pilgrim’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church
The Pilgrim’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church is located in Southeast Greene County, in the Rounsaville area, on the Pilgrim’s Rest Road. Rev. Tim Martin has been the pastor for more than ten years.. The service schedule of the church each Sunday is Sunday School 10 am, and worship at 11 am and 6 pm.
The church has been there more than 75 years and has an average attendance of about 60 people each Sunday. The church also has a Saturday night sing on the second Saturday of the month. Bro. Josh Everett leads the music. The deacons of the Church are Jerry Everett, Dustin Turner and Jack Everett.
There is a fairly large cemetery behind the church, giving testimony to many faithful members who have gone on to be with the Lord.
Pilgrim’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church always has the welcome sign out for visitors at any service of the church.
