Mt Zion United Methodist Church
The Mt Zion United Methodist Church is located in the State Line area on Rob McClendon Road. The church has a beautiful new brick church located beside the old church, which was built in 1912.
There is a cornerstone, in the front section of the old building, that gives the following information. The church was dedicated July 7, 1912. The church was built by Rev. J. M. Butler in 1911. W. M. McMorris was District Superintendent. Trustees were B. Cregs , S. Davis and George Pierce.
The church has the following services, Sunday School 10 am Morning Worship 11 am According to Mrs Juanita Johnson, a long time member, the church recently celebrate homecoming with special services and very goood attendance. Visitors are welcome in any services.
