I have found no proof that this family really came from Newark, Licking County, OH. and/or that Widow Nancy (?) Sample moved to the west, other than what is in the Erie and Huron County History book.
My personal research I found Nancy(?)Sample,
Rush moved North to Hudson, Mich.

I Mrs. Linda Reilly
was able to visit the grave site on June 17, 2003.
It was a wonderful
feeling to visit my GGGG Grandmother.
It was a bright
sunny day as her smile shine up on me of joy that I found her.
Then it started
to rain as I walked away as if she were crying up on me that our visit
was cut so short.
