Friendship AME Church is located on Dale County Road 30 north of Newton. It is between AL 123 and US 231. The cemetery is located on the west side of the church. There is some information on the cemetery section of this website about it. The Lee cemetery is across the road from the church. It was started by the Lee family and is predominately a white cemetery. I have no information on that one.
