Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church and Cemetery is located at the intersection of Dale County Roads 9 and 55 south of Newton. The church goes a long way back and I am told the present building is the third such building to house this congregation. There is a large number of unnamed graves there. The cemetery appears to be well kept for a country cemetery. The names of people buried there are old names in Dale County history. More work needs to be done yet.
