Within this website I am hoping to re-create the pictorial history of Newton, Alabama and present Newton as it is today. Much has been written on Newton as you will find in the libraries in the area. I am yet to find a good collection of pictures assembled together in one location. This is what I hope to accomplish with this website. If you have any information that would benefit this website I would appreciate you contacting me and let me add it here.

I often meet people who tell me about pictures they have seen in the past. Question is: Where are those pictures now? Too often they are neglected and lost. Some just get put by the wayside and never thought of again. I am giving us an opportunity to preserve those old photos in a single collection so we can preserve them for future generations. So, kick back and enjoy the trip. If you have some old pictures you wish to add to this collection then send me an email.
