Hazel Brumett Bryant, age 85, of Mount Vernon, Kentucky died September 22, 2006 at her home. She was born March 20, 1921 at Brodhead, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Ida (Brock) Brumett.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Bryant; four brothers - Bill, Lewis, Henry and William Worth Brumett; three sisters - Lizzie Brumett, Nora Clemons, and Myma Carrington; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Hazel Brummet Bryant is survived by four sons - Lester, Lesley, Wesley and David Bryant; five daughters - Arlene Irvin, Kathleen Denney, Irene Bishop, Willmaleen Singleton, and Sheila Downs; 44 grandchildren, 117 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Burial ... Negro Creek Cemetery, Brodhead, Kentucky.
