Vanish Softly
For one whose heart desires,
A love from him that is forbidden,
Let her heart not be vulnerable
To face the denying of the one
Who has forsaken hers!
Let the everlasting dream
Of her heart, vanish softly.
And not be stricken by a harsh pain.
